Prothatch Namibia’s ability to visualize your dream, and apply our expertise to every detail, ensures that Prothatch Namibia remains one of the country’s leading Thatching Companies.
We have been involved in the thatching Industry since 1993 and are well known for our signature quality.
Since the inception of Prothatch Namibia, we have undertaken numerous types of roof construction and thatching contracts, ranging from exclusive lodges, private homes, guest houses, conference centres and lapas of a variety of shapes and sizes.
Prothatch has also carried out a thatching contract in Senegal (Dakar) as well as Angola and Botswana.
The thatching grass which is used is of the Eragostis Pallens variety. It is more commonly known as Kavango Reed and it has been used very successfully.
The grass cutting industry in the Kavango was initiated by Prothatch Namibia. We fetch the grass from the Kavango ourselves, so this supply of grass ensures that we are able to honour and complete large contracts.
If you have a dream, big or small, that requires thatching, we at Prothatch Namibia are the team to help you achieve that dream.
